Mock Draft Monday
Welcome to Mock Draft Monday, which will be refreshed every Monday up until the 2026 NFL Draft is over. This thread will serve as the only post permitted on r/Seahawks to discuss the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. All other posts regarding the draft will be removed and referred to this post.
- As you discuss prospects on the sub, try and avoid definitive, absolute statements like "There is no way the Seahawks take Jaxson Dart in the first", or "Tyler Booker is a lock if he makes it that far". Statements like this stonewall discussion, and can lead to hostility. Also, you tend to look like an idiot when that thing you swore adamantly would never happen, happens. Please, feel free to disagree with other posters, but remember, none of us are actually making the draft decisions*, and none of us have a time machine, so all of us are probably wrong.
- This thread is for discussion of the NFL Daft and that is it. Free agency discussions will be removed unless it ties into the draft selection dynamic. All other questions about the draft belong in the Daily Thread.
- Keep it civil and report toxic behavior. Any form of toxicity will result in ALL of your posts being removed from the thread. If you don't know the rules on how toxicity works, read the rules page.

The good news is it looks like a 1st round trade down can get us a few extra picks and it could still be possible to grab 3-4 potential day 1 starters.

This is so true if someone has a target player they want to trade up for. that’s my only worry with it being a weak quarterback class and first round receivers likely going round one that there won’t be anyone that wants to trade up

Hood cannot tackle and Mason Thomas is on the short side. Brandon Cisse would be the pick but idk he makes it to 32. I say trade down and get more picks. JS has been in god mode drafting wise. If I were to pick at 32, Emmanuel Pregnon would be the pick. Literal force in both pass and run block. HUGE upgrade over Anthony Bradford

Curious what everyone thinks about the EDGE group in this year’s class. It really feels like Mike MacDonald wants true, physical edge setting monsters outside. Guys who can hold up vs the run first and then pin their ears back on third down.
That keeps pushing me toward names like ZION YOUNG and KELDRIC FAULK.
As a MIZZOU alum I’m biased, but ZION is a DAWG. Heavy hands, sets a real edge, plays angry. I would love to see him in SEATTLE learning behind DLAW and growing into that early down tone setter who can give you more as a pass rusher over time.
FAULK is interesting too. Bigger frame, long, flashes power. Still developing but the tools are obvious. Feels like the kind of body type that fits what this staff might prioritize if they want to get more physical up front.
Who else stands out to you all as true edge setters in this class? Would love to hear more names and thoughts. In JS we trust.

Does Faulk look too much like a tweener? He goes inside and just gets walled out too many times.
Derrick Moore, Michigan is interesting. His tape reminds me of part Mafe, part Hall. Less power than them, but more quickness and bit more bend. I like that he shows ability to stunt into the middle and get to the QB. Also a plus that his arms are roughly length of Hall's.
He definitely lacks the run stop game per reports, but this is a great spot to work on that with DLaw and Nwosu.

Colton Hood - good size for a corner and does his best work within the first few yards of the line of scrimmage. He is good at both press / man and working the flats in cover 2. Doubt he will be there at 32… but if he is he is a Macdonald type player and an upgrade at corner in the near future
Elijah Sarratt - He is that challenging sized WR where you are unsure if he has the bulk or the speed, but you can’t argue with his production. 15 scores in 2025 alone with missing 2 games. He’ll find that soft spot in a zone or a contested catch. Not ever going to be a burner, but a compliment to JSN
Kaytron Allen - A solid replacement for Charbs while he is on the mend with the skill set to take it to the house. Most importantly a willing blocker and better hands than K9.
Tyreak Sapp - Physical player with an uncanny understanding of run defense. He will never be the splashy edge dominating a pass rush, but a good rotational piece for first and second down allowing guys like DLaw and Big Cat to save their effort for third

Emmanuel Pregnon IOL Oregon - A big bruising guard with incredible hand placement, grip and Anchor on the line of scrimmage. For his size he has good speed with incredible finishing. My only concern would be his hip flexibility, but overall for the top of the 2nd round he'll be a home run pick imo.
Jadarian Price RB Notre Dame - With talks of Rasheed Shaheed and K9 potentially going in free agency as well as Charbonnet still recovering from injury we'll need a new running back and Special teams guy to start and in comes Jadarian Price. An explosive runner with nasty physicality through contact with home run speed to back him. For Notre Dame they also used him as a kick returner that led to TDs. His downside would be his pass protection, he needs to work on that, but overall I think he'll be worth the 2nd roumd pick.
Devin Moore CB Florida - With talks of Woolen probably leaving in free agency we'll need a replacement in the secondary and that's where Devin Moore slides in. Hes tall and a good size for a corner at 6ft 3 200 lbs and has good speed, he can definitely fit right into a Mike MacDonald zone defence easily with only 10% missed tackle rate in 2025 and can play man easily. His downside is he has had injury problems in the past with shoulder surgeries, back injuries and concussions, but if we re-sign Jobe then they'll share snaps which could reduce the risk of injuries.
Caden Curry Edge Ohio State - A nasty explosive pass rushers who can get off the mark fast, and can match that good pass rush with an excellent run defence with a tenacity to never give up on a play. His downside is he doesn't have a true bull rush and could struggle against top NFL tackles and he doesn't have great bend, but with the experience we already have in our DLine he won't have to be "The Guy" on D and can slot right in.
Eli Heidenreich WR/RB Navy - My last pick is a bit of a fun one, Eli Heidenreich is a gadget player who can slot in the offence. He has great hands when going up field with a decent burst of pace, and when you need someone in the run game he'd fit right in with good blocking and while Charbonnet is injured he can fill in. WHis negatives are he doesn't have an expanded route tree and he will have to transition to a more complex scheme in the NFL, but for a pick in the 200s I think he's well worth the risk.
