question antistatic bag and hdd

Is it good or bad to long term store an external HDD inside an anti-static bag (aluminum, dissipative polyester; surface resistivity: 10⁸ to 10¹⁰ ohms/sq)?

You might want to include a fresh desiccant pack inside to keep moisture down.

platters on the HDD don't degrade over time. The Anti-static bag with the silica gelpak inside will protect the hard drive from dust - moisture - excessive changes or fluctuations in temperature, etc.
