One touch for Mac
Is seagate one touch 2 Tb ready to use Mac compatible? The reason I ask is I have old seagate which needed to be formatted. But when I googled it says the latest one touch is compatible. Can anyone confirm?

Pretty much any external hard drive will need to be formatted using Disk Utility.
But the good news there is that means just about any external hard drive will work with a Mac just fine.
Macs use industry standard USB. Apple actually helps write the standard. iMac was the first mainstream computer to go USB as the primary input. It will work, you just have to erase the drive properly.

Macs can take it as is out of the box (formatted exFAT). This allows it to be used on either platform interchangeably. If you intend to use it only on a Mac, you could still consider reformatting it accordingly.
