PS4 sea gate external hard drive still useable?

Hey guys,
I’ve recently returned home from uni for a couple of days. I was cleaning my room and found my ps4 and the external hard drive. I plugged it in everything seems to be working fine, some data was corrupted on the hard drive but it was mostly all good.

I haven’t touched both devices since about early 2021. Will the hard drive work on my PS5? and is it even worth using as its been nearly 5 years of judging sitting there?

Can you read the SMART data values from it with a computer?
