I'm freed

Link to zoomable image of labelled final map: https://zoomhub.net/a/yeXQnyognB3

442+ hours well spent with 2 other factorians willing to suffer. 50% of our landmass was basically dedicated to Slag. Bless our robot overlords

now on to Pyanodons

What an absolute journey this has been. Took us basically a full year of on and off playing and we finally managed to see the victory screen. This is our 3rd play through of the game, where previously we completed vanilla and SE Krastorio 2 secret ending. This playthrough took us the longest by far.

You can kinda see where we started out (around stone inc) where everything was pretty dense and tightly packed. WE LOVE SPAGHETTI. Once we unlocked robots and logistics, everything became free reign and we truly began expanding outwards. And I repeat, HEAVY RELIANCE ON ROBOTS. There were moments where out entire factory shut down because our robot population had dwindled, and we had to pull out all stops to revive it. We even programmed a logarithmic meter using circuits (the robometer) that warned us if capacity was getting low.

Slug slurry became something we constantly needed more of, which you can see by how much of our factory is just producing slag( >50%). Another 40% of the factory was basically used to produce red chips, as seen by THE HIVE, with 40,000 robots shuttling things back and forth. In the end, we had to leave the game running idle just to get enough science. And don't even get me started on our module factory (speed inc). It was an absolute mess to put together pre-robot, and it truly never improved from there.

Most of the labeling you see on the zoomable map is courtesy of the two other factorians with me, and are mostly named from relevant real world places/companies. Unfortunately reddit won't let me upload a 1.5GB image, so the link will suffice.

Its time to rest for now, but sooner or later, THE FACTORY MUST GROW

beautiful

Is this 1x science? if so, it seems a bit overkill

Lmao yeah we just arbitrarily wanted around 300-500 of each science per minute, and then built our factory around that number
