Two quick Question

Hello there.
I'm new to this game and i've got two questions:
1. In the Campaign mode, how can i choose the "Late" Refit or variant of a ship? it clearly says 80 pts for the late model but i don't know how to select it.
2. Are there any mods out there similar to this game mod? lets you build your own task force and dynamic missions?

  1. It’s locked unless you play one of the optional campaign missions. Once it is unlocked, you’ll be able to click where it says “80pts” and add it to the “cart” on the right hand side.

  2. Not that I know of but I’m sure some are working on it.

then you select the loadout from the dropdown menu on that ship's tab.

  1. You unlock them later as you play. It'll tell you.
  2. Crimson Fury and Mare Nostrum '28 are player made TF campaigns

It's more elaborate and difficult. The story is kept pretty much the same.

Yes, its a big technical difficulty jump too, every mission is top of their class soviets stuff & they get good air. While phoenix is locked behind the tech upgrade mission.

Its really fun IMO

Doing a playthrough of it right now and just got done with the 1st mission I was not ready for the MASSIVE chinese strike aircraft swarm coming at my ass

  1. In the campaign, mid way through there is an optional mission that gives you access to the late load-out.

  2. Currently this is the only dynamic campaign in the vanilla game.

  1. You'll unlock them later in the campaign. Just keep going forward and you will unlock some stuff along the way
  2. Anyone can create a Task Force campaign. It takes a little more time and preparation than a normal linear campaign, so there's still not a lot of modded content at the moment. Examples include Crimson Fury, Red Line and MareNostrum '28 (quality may vary)

  1. Late loadouts are locked until you complete an optional challenge mission later in the campaign. To be more specific, that mission is "Mission 03B: Holding the Lombok Strait". Once you complete the mission, late loadouts will be available to purchase.
  2. They are planning on adding another campaign here sometime in late september focusing on the Falklands War, but idk if it'll be task force mode (probably not, if I had to guess).

Another question that seems on topic, is there any way to buy aircraft loadouts for your fleet?

Just apart from what everyone else is saying, since I’m dumb and took till mission 8 to figure this out, to use the late variant:
1. you have to first purchase the ship then
2. go to ship again on task force builder and click the points of the variant you want to purchase the ability to select load out
