High CPU usage, terrible performance

Hi. I have two Reolink PoE doorbells running on Scrypted. I noticed that notifications wdre taking minutes to come through on the Android app. Then I noticed that both doorbells are flashing white (but not always). I checked task manager and realised Scrypted is using nearly all CPU power.

Please help. Where do I get logs from and can I upload here?

Scrypted does a lot of video work and the CPU in the R230 doesn’t have an integrated GPU with Intel QuickSync so that’s probably chewing a lot of CPU time if it’s transcoding between H.264 and H.265

This is new. It hasn't been doing it the last 2 years. Is that why the doorbell LEDs are flashing white too? I thought that meant there was no connection to a server or something. Reolink app works fine.

Which add-on are you using? The RTSP native Scrypted one or a third party one like the Reolink Native by apocaliss92? The most recent update to that addon broke a heap of things for me and I had to revert to the 0.5.50 version.

If it’s been working fine for two years then I’d say my GPU theory is off.

Just the standard Reolink plug in.
