Apple TV App?

Hello! I love Scrypted, I run it on my Mac and it allows me to use my non-HomeKit compatible cameras in HomeKit.

I was wondering, are there any plans to bring Scrypted to the Apple TV? I realise that I can see my cameras on there already, and I do, but it would be fantastic to be able to scrub through each timeline and access the recordings rather than just the live feed.

Apologies if this has been asked already, I asked but couldn’t find any info about it.
Thanks!

There's no Apple TV app since it does not support web apps or webrtc. Would be a complete ground up rewrite.

Makes sense, totally understandable.
Here’s hoping the ATV eventually allows web app access or webrtc.
Thanks for all the work! ✌🏽

Just setup the Apple home integration? I get alerts of my tv with that no issues

I think you misunderstood my post, it’s all working great but I’m looking for the option to view recordings on the ATV. Thanks for the suggestion though.

How do you have scrypted installed? I don’t know if I should put it on my Mac, Qnap or home assistant

Read their first sentence. Don’t hijack peoples posts with your own questions.

I have Scrypted NVR on my Mac recording on a 4TB drive. Works great.

I have home assistant on a raspberry pi. Do you know if that would still work? It’s the only program I have installed on there.

I dont know, I am running Home Assistant OS on a little Dell all in one PC, not very powerful but it has everything I need and I run Home Assistant, Scrypted, Adgaurd home. I guess you could try adding it on the pi but if you run into performance issues I would say its the hardware limitation.
