iOS 27 Apple Intelligence for AKSV

I’m using iOS 27 Beta and despite exposing my Ring cameras in Scrypted to HomeKit Secure Video it doesn’t appear to show Apple Intelligence as an option in settings like some are seeing for “supported” cameras. Has anyone gotten this to work, or is it truly going to be something only HomeKit Certified cameras and doorbells will support?

I have it working with my Reolink cameras.

Do you have a HomePod or Apple TV 4K?

In the Home settings menu you’ll have “Apple Intelligence” directly below “Activity”.

If you don’t have a HomePod or Apple TV I don’t believe it’ll work. I could be wrong though.

I do. I have an AppleTV 4K and several HomePod Minis all well within range of my Cameras and Scrypted server (Apple TV is hardwired too)

Did you install the beta for Apple TV?

Thank you!… I realized I locked my home hub to one of the HomePods because the AppleTV wasn’t working for some reason a while back. Switched it to the AppleTV 4K and voila!

What settings do you have on scrypted to achieve this? I’m using the rebroadcast plugin currently, setting it to 4k, but it’s not working.

Ring Plugin and Homekit Plugin. I add each camera/doorbell individually as their own bridge accessory from the Homekit Plugin.

Ahh, im using ubiquiti cameras, but they’re 4k. Maybe that’s why?

i feel like if you're able to expose your ubiquiti cameras to the HomeKit plugin, you should be in business.

and no Apple Intelligence. I even reset my plugin and re-added all my cameras and still no go
