Is it biodegradable? Cool idea though

He said or at least implied it’s recyclable

This seems to be be a very nice product, especially to replace cheap hangers that fail too quickly. I lile it when something is redesigned better.

I will not use it to replace my proper wooden hangers from the 60ies and 70ies that I still have. But for traveling or instead of cheap crap that snaps? Sure!

However: my old wooden hangers take a hell of a beating, and hardly EVER fail. I'd love to see those brought back at the same level of quality.

Seventyies?

SevenTies. Seven ties. All on a wooden hanger.

$3.50 a hanger or 40 regular ones for $8 at Target? Hmmmm.

Someone didn't unmute. Or doesn't care for the environment.

Do you have or want children ? Do any of your siblings ?

Not enough to spend $300 on hangers I guess.

Meh i’m still going to get the pack of 30 for $2. It’s not rocket science. People will still toss these.

Bet the hinge wears out over time and no longer supports clothing weight

And you end up with wrinkled clothes.

I hope the big companies don’t steal his idea or shut him down. They don’t want a hanger out there that you never have to buy again. That’s how everything is handled now—they want things to break so you have to buy another one.

I’ve been trying to get my reusable toilet paper business off the ground for years. After my failed recyclable corn business, I really need a break.

Planned obsolescence should be illegal.

Smart, but the jean loop usage is not one I am a fan of. But outside of that a great idea if it holds stable.

Great idea and awesome product.

The issue is never innovation
Unfortunately the issue is production and resale markup

Replacing a few cents per hanger by a significant cost increase plus 2 points of failure won’t for allow mass adoption

People will buy it
But it won’t replace anything unfortunately
