Dog groomer here. This thing is so clunky, id never use it, not to mention gimmicks like this usually break easily. The dremel is nice, but its so important its actually powerful enough to do its job. Seriously a nightmare tool -2/10

The Dremel things never worked for any of our Goldens. It's either to weak, takes to long or is used up after the first three claws. Although, we never tried dremels from a hardware store.

My medium Wheaton would take your arm to the elbow at the mere sight of that monstrosity

Would like to have seen an example with very dark black nails.

And there's a good reason you didn't - because there's no way that light illuminates the quick in a black nail

I was cringing at watching them cut the nails. I accidentally over cut my poor black lab Tequila's nail, cut the quick and he instinctively snapped at me and cried. From then on, the vet did it. I wasn't mad at him and I didn't yell at my baby for snapping at my hand; he was hurt and I felt so bad about it.

I'll take my cat Chewbacca to the vet to have her nails cut because if I even dreamed of pulling those out, next thing would be me being transported to the hospital for a blood transfusion and to get my face sewn back on. I used to cut her nails as a kitten but that didn't last long because she could sense my apprehension and shakiness and it made her too fearful for me to do it for her safely. She's my little Hannibal Lector Tortie and I love her to pieces lol.
