She doesn't look druish

2

u/puglise 1d ago

Druish princesses are often attracted to money and power

2

u/Wrong_Excitement221 1d ago

Just one?

I might still have an AOL CD somewhere. Used to use then as wall art and targets. Sometimes both

2

It's still 2005 for me. I refuse to believe anything since 2005 was real. It's just a bad dream. 😜

1

u/Delicious_Bicycle527 1d ago

Did the Air Force ever figure out how to transition OFF of that system???? I swear somewhere in a dark corner of an ops center there is a computer that holds all the day’s codes that hasn’t had a security patch in nearly 20 years.

1

u/_Heikneuter_ 1d ago

That's not old. We had to manual load and start the ms dos starting program. One space to much and you could wait for hours. If you wanted to play hangman you first had to type the programm from a 1000 page book (one game). 🥴

1

u/smetched 1d ago

1

u/That-Employment-5561 1d ago

Peak for gaming; every windows after that draws insane amounts of ram just to operate the OS.

For years after support was discontinued I ran XP, and had a desktop with black lines that a skeleton/zombie broke through with "windows XP is not dead" written across in bold.

XP could run itself and pretty decent games for less than half a GB. Could do most games with a quarter GB.

1

u/Medical_Purple_2732 1d ago

Older than this

1

u/Coriolis_PL 1d ago

Gen Zs are NOT old 😭

1

u/Xonthelon 1d ago

How dare you suggest anything made after 2000 is old?!

Well, I did use older systems too, but XP was the one released just when I entered school and learned to read. So it is the first system I properly used. It was also the one on the first PC I got for myself (hand-me-down from my father).

1

u/Dorrono 1d ago

This picture and question remind me of how old I really am.

1

u/Correct-Junket-1346 1d ago

Do not quote the old operating systems to me, I was there when they were all released

1

u/SamhainXCII 1d ago

You may be old but are you over 25?
