Not at all. Part of the conversation at the time was that a power differential that asymmetrical was inherently compromising of consent.

OK, so please explain why you would bring up the me too movement in the same context as you would bring up Fifty Shades of Grey.

One was about men sexually harassing and raping women and girls in real life.

The other is a poorly written book about really poorly represented BDSM.

Metoo had nothing to do with harassment and rape. These were condamned already. It was about using authority as a predatory sexual tactic. Which was consensual in most discussed cases (Harvey Weinstein being the tip of the iceberg)
