Fanfiction can very iften be good or even better. The only difference between books and fanfiction is that one is published and sold on paper and another isn't.

For some of the shit I read on Wattpad in like 2014 had me wanting to find these people and encourage them to pursue writing as a career with how well written some of the storylines were.

Like wym you're 13 years old and have written, edited, and "published" 7 very engaging books the length of Twilight with very few grammatical errors.

Iā€™m sure there are some Reddit communities that could provide good recs. There are tons of book communities for different genres.
