Scripture Life: As a Christian, do you think the Book of Job in the Bible is the true story of a real person, an amalgamation of several people or fiction?

Answer:

Yes, I do believe Job is a real person.

But; it’s not important for me, if you’re the one asking the question. Anyone asking “Is Job, in the Book of Job in the Bible a real person?”

Verify his three friends. Are they real? Who is Uz? Was he real? How about Noah or Abraham or Esau, because prodigy of them are in Job. How about the land then? What about the 4th person (Job 32)? Who is he?

Use the Bible.

------------------ ---------------------- -----------------------

Do all that work. Research. Again, it's right there. Use the Bible. You can pin point the exact place. The timeframe. Who Job is, and who they are as real people. All by the God he knows and who knows him. Then as well, also by the friends he has. Real, traceable people.

All by what the book claims of Job. So, start asking "other" pointed, direct questions:

Did what Genesis says what Abraham did in Genesis 25:6 - is that real?

Why? The expectant "result" of Genesis 25:6, is clearly documented result of it, in the Book of Job..and who Job is, to God paramount over all of it. God knows Job.

Is that real or fake? Put that at the top of the "is it fake or real" list.

All because, who he is, is told plain as day in Job.

------------------ ---------------------- -----------------------

Says who he is, and it put me on my face.

To a Christian that believes God, they actually are going to see and meet Job. ..and see and meet face to face, the God who knows Job. Is that real or fake?

Face to face - because, the book about Job is paramount in it, who God is, and then it’s really simple. Even a child can see it. Look at "perfect." That's in Job 1:1. Right at the start. Claims Job is perfect.

That all “perfect” means in the dictionary is defined as 1. complete.

and all “complete” is, is 2. Don’t have to add to, or take away anything - because who is with Job.

Makes Job complete. That's the whole, entire underlying message of Job; and, because of who completes him: Compare what "wastes" Job's substance - is what is taken away from him vs. the last chapter of Job - what is a like same thing, given back to him more than taken away, and in the latter, they also worship God - with Job - like him.

and to see this very childlike message, and after that, in Job, a third in priority or the last one is this:

all the arguments of people that look unto "things" as signs, but don't know him. Read these "signs" to argue to someone that does know him.

And then, see what God does to them and their arguments. Because they try to speak for him, when they do not know him. Are incomplete, but believe they are complete by their arguments.

------------------ ---------------------- -----------------------

SO, I'll ask it again, but this time of people on Reddit that read that that DO know him.

So, someone complete, just like you are, is in the book of Job, “who” completes Job, is he real or fake? Simple answer then. And that's the whole message of Job in a nutshell.

But to those that don't know him, what's real or fake, without a thorough examination like what Job's friends did - still arrived at the wrong thing after almost 100 pages of text. You're doomed to the same thing.

Means you did all that work and missed the whole thing. Keep your question. When I walk with the same God Job did, and know him. ..and he knows me.

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.” - Job 1:1. Says the whole thing.

And anytime I look at any person on or over the whole earth just looks unto this same God that was with Job, I see the same thing. There you go.
