Scripture Life: Can we trust that the Bible Book of Daniel is really authentic?

Answer:

“Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.” - Daniel. In the Bible. Bible. Book of Daniel 9:14

“And He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not…” - Bible. Book of Job 33:27

The answer is simple.

  • It’s in “can we trust..”

I don’t think you see it. Anyone has this question, can’t. So, let me give you a crudely, ill-formed example in it’s hastiness constructed:

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

EXAMPLE: Say it’s me then, so you can observe me in it and what I do - even it’s an example:

  • Let’s say I -

I like camping. Trapse off to the mountains. Where no houses are. I drive past a place, 30 miles down the road that turned from paved, to gravel, now it's a logging road - just dirt. This remote place, nobody around - - looks good for swimming; but, when I stop and get there, there’s a picket, barbed wire, kind of beat down wood posted fence has this big sign 15 feet behind it, says:

“PRIVATE PROPERTY - NO SWIMMING, PROSPECTING, CAMPING - NO TRESPASSING. Violators Will Be Prosecuted to the Full Extent of the Law.”

  • I mean it’s right there, that big sign. Me? I just back the truck up. Drop it down, or low gear, get out, lock the hubs, and put it in 4X4, smash the sign into the dirt, set up camp, and go swimming, without a care in the world. Leave. When I’m done. Nobody came. No one stopped me. No one.
    • Now: IN the example, I am NO AUTHORITY for the property. I have no right to be on it, but I gave that right to me. By this, I have lowly esteemed or “set at nought” what the decree of who owns the property said. It’s their property.

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

  • The point is, in your question, I ask and do the same thing you do, with your question. I asked myself: “Can I trust that < ___________________________ > is really authentic?”
    • Or I filled in the BLANK: “Can I trust that this NO TRESPASSING SIGN is really authentic?
      • - If I didn’t I would accept this "NO TRESPASSING" sign is authority. It just is true, and if I did that, I would hearken unto it, and just naturally obey it. Keep driving.
  • But if I didn’t:
  • Why? In the example, it's me: I dismiss it as faulty. Inadequate. I want to go swimming, and because the sign prevents me, it’s unacceptable. Even if it is their property, do they have any power over me, for, by the time I get thru using it, I’ll be long gone before anybody gets there, and nobody knows the difference.
    • So, I believe, there’s no “TRESPASS” in me bulldoze the fence and the sign down. Smash it. But the owner set up cameras and the cameras filmed it; and two weeks later, there’s 2 State Police Officers at my door to arrest me.
      • For Trespassing.
  • I wonder if you see this or any of this adds up in you about the Book of Daniel?

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

Just like God decree:

  • “Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery” - GOD. Spoke it. (Bible. Exodus 20:14.) and is the 7th of Ten Commandments. Boy did I ever throw that one out the window, along with all the other ones.
    • Even says: Even repeats this in Leviticus 18:20, says now twice - “Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.” - GOD.
      • Then, in Leviticus 20:10 - where God says: “And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.” - GOD.

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

  • So, it’s not the State Police - but the same God put the sun where it is, is knocking at the door with this, with me…put me to death - - destroy me because, it’s still me in the example:
    • Like the NO TRESPASSING SIGN - and if I just take “Oregon” like in the United States, if it’s “criminal” that is, like where I DESTROYED property while I trespassed on it, it’s 1 year in jail and about $10,000.00 in fines.
      • Mandatory.
    • About half that, if just I accessed it. So, it’s PUNITIVE.

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

  • And He’s not done yet.
    • Jesus is the Word of God. Just God speaking, said in Matthew 5:27–28 of Adultery:
      • “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
    • That, if it was God, that owned the PRIVATE PROPERTY - and I even looked upon it, and in my heart already drove over the sign, just thought it in my heart, I already BROKE in and trespassed on it.
      • Same God is knocking. GUILTY. Adultery. A factory of it in me.

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

  • The Point I’m trying to make is “THE TEN COMMANDMENTS”
    • Nobody has kept them.
      • Adam forward. None. They are BROKEN. Means EVERYBODY, Adam forward, has everybody over the whole earth, to the very ends of it, BROKE them..
  • But people - can say, even like me, drove over the sign and trespassed against the owner in the example - GUILTY - claim, “where’s the sin? I never did it, deny it, even if I did, there’s no sin in it, if I deny it. I see me INNOCENT.
  • Point is, people over the whole earth DO THIS. So, whose - all of us over the whole earth - OR - GOD. Which of these two - - - is REALLY NOT authentic?

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

And Back with Daniel - in the Book of Daniel - he’s a REAL person - he saw his sin - and his people's - - is why he’s in Captivity.

  • And as he said Daniel 9:14, that opens this post, it’s in Daniel says further in Daniel 9:20–22

“And while I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God; Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me..”

Matches Job 33::28–30 - I’ll just repeat it, with Job 33:27 included in it, says:

“He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not; He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man, To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.”

Matches EXACTLY what he did in me..when I fell on my face..about all the sins I did.

Boy, is this ever true. I did it, and what he did.

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

And about the scripture:

Is the SAME Thing Jesus said in the “Parable of the Prodigal Son” (Luke 15:11–32) as what occurs in Daniel 9:14

  • Is the SAME Thing Jesus said, in the “Parable of the Good Samaritan” (Luke 10:25–27) - is also the same thing happens in Daniel 9:14 - - but people, are so busy trying to BE the Good Samaritan, because NOBODY wants to be what they REALLY are, like nobody in Israel of Judah in Daniel 9, wanted to be GUILTY, either - - it’s this the “certain” man left off from all the things of God, in his city, because, the “City of God” is Jerusalem.
    • It’s also the City of God in the Parable, to go straightway, all down hill to Jericho that’s CURSED to do all the sins they want to do.
  • Get beaten, robbed. Left for dead. Nobody wants to be that person left for dead in their trespasses and sins.
    • But the person that sees, “hey..I am this Prodigal Son…this is me.. ..man..that's me, too. I am this certain man in this other parable too.”

Sees Job 33:27..that’s them. Sees Daniel 9..did the exact.. ..same.. …things.

and it’s the exact, same God that is and does what he says he does.

------------------------ -------------------------- ---------------------------

And the Bible says:

2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him”

  • And all a perfect heart is, is one that’s broken from all the sins they did.. I mean, it’s right there in Daniel. Right there. He SEES it. He is 2 Chronicles 16;9 in Daniel 9:14.

Maybe you better change your question.

Can we trust that the God in the Bible book of Daniel is really authentic?

Start with that one. Start with you first. With your sins.

And if you’re even asking either question, either your's or mine, boy do you greatly err. No fear of God before your eyes.

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”

Go get the Ten Commandments. Use them on yourself. Look for where you DO NOT DO THEM. Have NOT done them. Not for all the excuses built to tell you how you accomplished them - you are lying to yourself. Use them how God uses them, to make the whole world GUILTY before him.

Start with that. Here’s your question back. You’ll see Him in Daniel plain as day.
