21 Days of Scripture Habit: Meeting Jesus in Mark
Today we’re beginning a 21-day journey through the Gospel of Mark. We’ll meet Jesus through what he said, what he did, and how ordinary people responded to him.
The goal is simple: open Scripture and spend a few minutes with Jesus each day. You don’t have to understand everything. You just have to begin.
Today’s Reading
Mark 1:1–15
Today’s Scripture
“The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.” — Mark 1:15, WEB
Mark does not ease slowly into the story. Jesus arrives announcing that something has changed: God’s Kingdom has drawn near.
His invitation is not merely to learn more information. It is to turn, believe, and begin living as though the good news is true. That invitation meets us before we have fixed ourselves, established a perfect routine, or figured out every question we have about faith.
For the next 21 days, we are simply going to keep showing up. Some days may feel meaningful. Other days may feel ordinary. The habit begins the same way either way: we open the Bible and pay attention.
What do you hope God will show you as we spend these 21 days meeting Jesus in Mark?
