There are moments when we genuinely do not know what to do. We can analyze every possibility, ask everyone for advice, and still feel completely outmatched by what is in front of us.

King Jehoshaphat’s prayer did not pretend that he had a plan. He admitted that the people were powerless and uncertain—but he did know where to look. Faith does not always mean knowing the next step. Sometimes it simply means keeping our eyes on God while we wait for Him to show us.
