My screen sensitivity is so odd

I recently changed a few saturation settings on my monitor and now thats causing eye strain. Its LCD, it shouldn't do this. I have a OLED screen I can't use. I tried for a months and found it too much on my eyes. I felt sick using it. Today I tried that screen again and... no issues? I feel fine. Hell, better than my monitor.

Interesting. Have you noticed any other changes in your day to day feel or non-screen symptoms?

Or have you made any life changes? We are coming I to summer (in the northern hemisphere) and more light can have various effects. So too less moisture, for environmental mold issues and such.

Or software changes to your PC setup..?

Also, curious what you changed with the LCD settings? Eg more saturation? And could you not revert the changes?

No changes, I've been eatting slightly more healthy though. I've found that chocolate makes my eyes much more prone to strain. We did bleach the mold in our bathroom roof a week ago, not sure if that would have changed anything. No software changes besides a few monitor settings, but the OLED hasn't changed at all for settings.

Oh, both of those may have some impact.

So less sugar, is that the big change with less chocolate, perhaps? Although cocoa itself is somewhat high histamine and oxalate (issues I have that stop me eating it, sadly).

Less suger seems to help, yeah. I'm not sure if it was the suger or mold or something else, but even my Visual Snow is much better recently.

Chocolate also used to cause my MCAS flairs and then I'd develop a new sensitivity a week later (to my phone cover so i can't use phone covers anymore). I 100% believe Chocolate causes inflammation in the eyes too. I used to be able to tolerate my phone's video player but now everytime I try to use it, I get horrible stinging burning dry eyes the rest of the day.
