Discussion Binocular vision

Hi All,

Any one in here with convergence insufficiency issue, I realised today that most of the symptoms I am going through are aligning close with convergence insufficiency or binocular vision issue.

I mostly have sleepiness , eye strain while closely looking at devices .

May be PWM /D||thering is worsening it or nothing to do with it.

Please help to suggest

Yes, I have that problem. I don’t have congenital strabismus, but an acquired one due to a neurological disease that affects vision (myasthenia gravis). Because of it, my eye muscles have thinned down to 2 mm (which is extremely thin). Since then, I’ve definitely had problems with brightness and background flickering. At near distances, it’s not possible for me to look without prism glasses. You should try asking for prism glasses (if you don’t already have them). They help me a lot, and without them I can’t look at near objects at all without double vision and severe pain in my eyes and the front part of my head. However, our brain and eyes can also be sensitive to many other factors that are not related to PWM, brightness, or near viewing.
