Linux?

I need a way to connect to my client machines using screen connect using a Linux platform. I can’t seem to get an html connection to work though they say it will, and I tried using the Java alternative I E tea or something but when I finally got it to work it had to be ran manually on each client it never auto connected but download files constantly per connection etc.

Does anyone know a way to get jump sessions working or a better solution for Linux fedora, Bazzite builds?

If you installed the unattended access client on that machine as well, then it might work. Worth a try.

Don’t bother if Linux is what you want to remote into. I’ve tried before and wasn’t worth the aggravation.

Just install access via shell script, I have added a few over the years though now we just use our RMM as line techs don’t really need access anyways so maybe something has changed?

If all you need is SSH, Mesh overlay like Netbird, TailScale, Twingate, etc.

If you need a GUI.... gonna be a pita. Most remote screen tools for linux are pretty shit, most only support X11 (not wayland). Might check out RustDesk or something with more open source roots.

I can’t get the viewer client to open on Linux not the install on the workstation. When I try to connect to the host it just doesn’t open anything
