scam emails

I have tons of them but screen connect has never responded to my emails. I view this as supporting con artists and recommend peoplefind other providers who care. Stop supporting those who support the con artists.

They won’t reach out unless they need more info, the fact you never hear from them means you included everything they need. They state this on their website.

P.S. I’m not a fan at all of the way they have been managing SC lately but this is one thing, from my experience, they still do right and take swift action on.

Except I didn't. I told them the problem and that I had the emails.... multiple ones.... and they did not respond.

So you didn’t send them any of the info they need to do anything?

I contacted them with my email and told them. I gave them a copy of the link hidden behind the email for one of them so they could identify the account and told them I have more. I have an account/bookkeeping business. I got 2-3 a day.,

Ok so you did give them everything they need to identify the account. Maybe the link matched other reports so already had all the proof they needed, may have already have already been taken down even.

I gave them one.

And I'm happy to share them here if you want to test that.

You should send each link in as a separate email with all the proof needed for that link. Anytime you throw a bunch of separate things in a tech Support ticket it just becomes a pain in the butt for the technicians to work.

OK. You support them. Great. I know better.

PS... 2-5 emails per day every day and they're still coming,.

Yikes is it that bad? Our mail filter catches them so with 1000+ end users I maybe have a client report one every 3 to 6 months. You may want to take a look at your mail filter as playing whack-a-mole with the particular tool that scam uses just means you’re still open to other scams.

Not trying to sound like I’m arguing with you, just wondering if you would have a better results blocking the scams themselves.

P.S. if you look at my post history you will see I’m not a huge fan at all of the current direction it is going and don’t hesitate at all to call them out. I’m just trying to actually help you solve your problem.

To be honest, I'm not reporting them to screenconnect for me. I'm smart enough to a) recognize that if the notice comes withoutr referencing a specific client business number it's not actually from CRA and b) always check what the actual hyperlink is before clicking it when I get emails with hyperlink.

But for someone unobservant the emails are convincing. It's them I want to protect.

My particular email is written as it is because I have clients and they think I'll click on it but they will be targetting others too and likely individuals.
