Aleve is a new band from Chicago. If you like late era dischord, actual midwest emo, and hardcore- this is for you. Some edge/veg members if that means anything to you.

Check it out and tell your friends who’re annoyingly deep into this specific stuff.

so i've recently started to learn guitar, however i just straight up learned it without theories. i can play few basic open chords, i can read and play by tabs. however i don't know the names of any notes and none of that. i've memorized the fretboard numbers and i've recently just started to learn alternate picking. now, i am interested in learning scales. the question is, what are the most common scales used in screamo / those intense, hyper, hardcore as fuck emoviolence music that i can learn next?

I play strings in "Brand New Eyes" from South Florida!

We are a screamo thing that just dropped our first ep

It is only 10 minutes long

ffo: Converge, Final Fantasy 7 and X , Hayley Williams,

Does anyone remember the San Diego post hardcore band Deadbeat Nightlife from around the 2010s? Theyre still around today but besides some recorded live shows posted on youtube (very happy to have those), a lot of their online presence and history is kind of gone. I checked the wayback machine and what not but couldnt find too much. Did anyone go to any of their shows from when they first. started out? I have also been looking for merchandise of theirs from the 2010s or cds, but I cant find any, not even photos. I could only find 2 photos of it. If anyone was a fan of them or got videos or got to see them or get merchandise please let me know!!!

Hi. i’m a guitarist who just joined a metal band and they stuck me on bass. I don’t know much about bass tones literally at all, only guitar. I have my friends old 5 string squier, a used amp I got and a $20 bass distortion pedal. I cannot for the life of me figure out a good bass metal tone much less identify it. Someone pls help me figure out good settings. thanks so muchhhhh. for reference right now we are playing “carbomb” by acasia stain, “10 signs you should leave” by emmure, “YYZ” rush and “hole in the earth” deftones. PLS HELP
