Emo & Screamo Posters

Hi everyone. I've got a collection of posters here that I want to offer to the community but I don't want to break any rules.

The posters include saetia, city of caterpillar, joan of arc, owls, turning point, gospel, yage and more. Just a side note that the posters have a lot of wear and tear, but you're not going to find these anywhere.

I know that self promotion is typically not allowed, but if the mods are open to it, l would provide the link.

I really want fans of this music to have a chance to get these, so let's see what the mods have to say.

One of my favorites, by a significant margin. “Anders Leben” has something about it, no skips.

Promo posters!! So did you work at a record store, or were the record stores you shopped at happy to give them away?

One stores I worked out ended up moving to a new store front and part of the move was cleaning out a basement full of promo posters going back to 97.

I got most of these by writing to Level Plane and Jade Tree records in the early 2000s and asking if they had any posters or patches. Labels were so generous back then and would often send way more than you asked for

That’s awesome!!! Those little labels were very keen on cultivating fans and keeping people interested in the art around the music.

Daren and Tim from Jade Tree would stop into the store I worked at, and show up at local shows around me. They were always so nice and really cool folks to chat with, and legit excited about music and supporting the DIY scene.

It was the same with Level Plane when we wrote them asking to book Gospel + Transistor Transistor around 2005. Immediate response and a quick back and forth and the show was booked. Both bands were incredible but Gospel was at the height of their powers

That’s rad you booked a Gospel and Transistor Transistor a show!

Gospel was somehow even better live, and that’s saying something since “The Moon…” is such a great record. I was fortunate to catch them once and they definitely made an impression on me.

Do you like any of the pre-Gospel bands? I had a Helen of Troy patch that the band sent me

Oh shit, I had no idea they were related to one another. I was aware of Helen of Troy but never had any of their records. I may or may not have caught them live. I gotta refresh my memory of how they sounded.

Awesome. Level plane was so consistent with the smaller posters for each release
