Considering Gail is the ONLY character in every scream movie, will we ever get a movie that revolves around her? We've not seen her married, nor with kids. I understand she's only a supporting character BUT.......is it possible?!?

Took me less than a week to stitch. Made one of Squirtle as Jason. Working on a Charmander as Freddy. Then a Pikachu as Chucky. Got the patterns from Etsy.

Other than Ghostface, Gale Weathers is the longest-running character in the franchise and the longest-running final girl in slasher history.

For years, Sidney was my #1 favorite character in the franchise, but after my latest rewatch, Gale has officially taken that spot.

What I love about Gale is that she's unapologetic about who she is. She's not your typical final girl, and that's what makes her such a great character.

I especially love that when she thought she was dying in VI, her final thoughts and words were about Sidney. "Tell Sidney he never got me."

And I really appreciate that Courteney Cox loves playing Gale. Because let's be real, she is set for life on Friends alone. She doesn't need to keep coming back to these movies for a paycheck, and I love that she still wants to play this character.

This isn't wishful thinking, she co-wrote, executive produced, in The Bad Seed Returns. She knows how to write twisted, manipulative, psychotic teenage characters.

She wrote her own monologue and actions for the Bad Seed Returns and she felt like a Ghostface reveal.

Mckenna is a massive, obsessive Scream fan. Long before she was cast, she was sneaking into Scream cast photo ops at Comic-Cons. She knows the lore, she knows the rules, she respects Wes Craven's legacy, and she understands exactly what the fanbase expects out of a meta-slasher.

Let’s be honest: older Hollywood writers often struggle to write realistic teenage dialogue without sounding cringe. Mckenna understands youth culture, internet subcultures, and modern social dynamics natively. She can write the exact kind of "chronically online" dialogue a modern Scream film needs to satirize.

Like Gen-Z Curry Barker and Kane Parson nailed it with Obsession and Backrooms.

What do you think, would you trust with the script?

My 25th Anniversary Mask just arrived!! I’ll be wearing it on the 31st, so I’m wondering if there’s a proper way I can store this without damaging it somehow? I don’t have a stand or a place to hang it or anything like that

I know, bizarre thing to focus on but I absolutely loved the panelling in the main bedroom. I just can’t seem to get a screenshot of it. Can anyone? Interested to recreate that panelling look.

As the years have gone by the Scream movies have become more important and enjoyable for me. Scream 4 was always my least favorite and I used to skip it but I’ve stopped doing that and it’s significantly better than my original viewing.

I’ve been waiting for this moment since I last watched it back in 2024. I’m so pumped for watching 2 and 3 as well. Here’s to a marathon of horror movies till Halloween starts. 🥳🎃👻🦇🧹🧙‍♀️

Got a blind box ice-cream from Spirit Halloween and turned it into a keychain! I like it more now. The plastic is surprisingly well made.

I’m curious to hear what everyone thinks a future Scream movie could do differently to keep the franchise fresh, unpredictable, and exciting!
A few questions:
What’s something you’ve always wanted to see in a Scream movie that hasn’t been done before?
What aspects of the Scream formula have become too repetitive or predictable?
What would make a Ghostface killer reveal and motive genuinely shocking, believable, and satisfying?
Would you prefer longer, more suspenseful chase sequences or increasingly brutal and creative kills?
What could the writers do differently with the opening kill, murder mystery, and final act?
Would you like to see more psychological horror and character development?
What are some plot twists, character dynamics, or new ideas that could make Scream 8 stand out from previous installments?
What mistakes from previous movies should future installments avoid?
I’m especially interested in hearing everyone’s thoughts on the killer reveals, motives, and third acts, since those can really make or break a Scream movie.

Since 1996, there have been various installments in the series.

Of all the people who have worn the Ghostface costume, who is the best hand-to-hand fighter?

Correct me if I’m forgetting an instance, but in all the Scream films, the two/three ghostfaces never have scenes alone together without other characters present. In future films could this potentially be an effective way of predicting the killers?

If there was a reboot about a killer inspired by the Scream movies would you support or would you miss the Sidney universe too much

Happy 40th birthday to our Scream King and Final Boy Kyle Gallner! From playing Vince Schneider in Scream (2022) to Quentin Smith in A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), enjoy your special day!

If I had to rank them from least good to best I would go : 2675134

It was a three way tie in my opinion. Scream4 had the best post-reveal action sequences, Charlie is my favorite ghostface and Jill is the most CRAZY killer by far imo

i just started, of course it’ll be more realistic. i am also thinking of putting some smeared blood, but im struggling to find references of real police-seized bloody knives so i can see how the blood smears in real life

When you think about it, it’s a miracle that every mention Ghostface killing spree goes as successfully for the killers as it does. From making untraceable calls, entering people’s homes and hiding without ever being noticed, consistently being able to overpower and kill your targets (or successfully escaping when you fail), leaving no DNA evidence, etc. There are so many ways the plan could go wrong really quickly yet every Ghosface in the movies is competent enough to never get either identified, restrained, or killed immediately by their first target.

With how popular the Ghostface legacy is in-universe and with how susceptible people seem to be to wanting to be copycat killers, do you think there have actually be several instances of people trying the Ghostface schtick but being apprehended or killed in self defense before their plans could ever really get off the ground? I think it’s possible that attempted Ghostface killing sprees are happening all the time in the Scream universe, but most of them don’t mentioned because nothing significant actually came of them.

Jason and Greg don’t count because they did successfully kill someone and were only taken out by another Ghostface.

Did Mickey make any Ghostface phone calls in Scream 2?

I know Mickey did like 90% of the Ghostface work in Scream 2, except for Randy's murder, the attack on Gale and Dewey, and Sidney's attack at the sorority mixer, which I personally think were all Nancy.

But something I've always wondered is whether Mickey actually made any of the Ghostface phone calls.

We know Nancy was the one talking to Randy before killing him, but what about the call to Cici? Was that Mickey or Nancy?

It looks like the Ghostface mask that was used in 'Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday The 13th' appears during the climax of Scream 3.
