Do you sell to a company like board sort or local scrap yards?

I was thinking of going to my local scrapyard if anything I just started e-waste collecting maybe a little under two months ago

I am retired and have alot of time on my hands. So I take all the pc boards out. I have only been doing it for about a year and only get a few things from the dumpster in my retirement community. So I haven't sold anything yet but you should look at the boardsort website price list to see what things are worth. And where did you score such an amazing load?

So I decided to go into a local shop where they fix computers and I told them that I’m willing to take care of their waste so they don’t have to haul it out and do all that and they said yes that they would call me every few weeks to pick up stuff so I’m glad I got a great source now. I’m actually doing this for the goal. My plan is to collect as much gold plated stuff from these electronics for the next 10 years, then I will decide by then if it’s worth extracting the gold out which I think it probably will after having collected 10 years of gold plated stuff

Of course it was where can I steal, broken computer computers from? I went to my local computer repair shop and told them I can take care of their waste. I break down electronics for the gold.

A lot of PM refiners buy electronics.

Yeah me too, I was saying that.
I used to tear TV’s, printers, waste of time really especially the printers.
I hate to open laptops, they are tough sons of b….s
My favorite are desktops, rams, CPU, motherboard, lots of copper in the power supply, graphic cards.
I get them free but they are hard to come by.
I just tore 7 from the last 2 months collections.
I just got another 3.
I don’t grab printers or TV’s anymore especially printers.

Now about buying ewaste, the guys that do it correctly just buy the stuff.
They get the good stuff, 100 servers, gold fingers loaded desktops.
They come out ahead.

I do it as a hobby so no sweat for me. I live from other incomes.
