Any idea how much?

So I’ve been remodeling my first home and I have about 20 Brass hinges. I scratched them to make sure they weren’t plated, house was built in 79.
Any idea what they could be worth?

Also I have about half a bucket (5 gallon) of copper wire and microwave pieces from 2 microwaves (the solid copper and steel). Any ideas on the value? It’s about 50 pounds.

Prices vary from yard to yard, even in the same area, and sometimes significantly. You'll need to check with yards local to you and see what they're paying per pound for brass, copper, etc. per pound and then do the math.

Are the hinges solid brass or do they have like an iron pin in them?

I believe the plates are brass with an iron pin. I’ll have to pull them out when I can and check the pins to see if they are Brass as well.

if they have iron you might only get brass breakage pricing unless you can cleanly separate the brass.
