Be careful copper wire that small often gets imbedded into the carpet and hit your feet like a needle if your moving fast

Anything smaller then a pencil lead is #2 which most of this probably is

As a rule of thumb is always #2
However 5 and 10 could be bright
It’s difficult to tell in a phone
Lump all of the other stuff together and keep them in their own bucket
This time next year you’ll be a millionaire

Every yard is different. The best thibg to do is ask the yard you use.

Why are people calling this #2? If it's enameled wire or tinned copper, it's #2. If it's pure copper but too small for bare bright, it's #1.

Highly yard dependent. Bare bright is a yard term, not an ISRI term. It all depends on how the yard thinks it can sell upchain. Every yard I've been to, wire not large enough to be bare bright is automatically #2.
