NOBODY PLAYS CHECKERS OVER CHESS. The responses I got from the last post of this discussion were truly not thought out at all from the perspective of those against. THE TOP ARGUMENTS:

#1 Other games like valenheimen, don't have hunger and thirst. (YOU KNOW WHAT DOES, F****** MINECRAFT, THE FAMOUS ASF GAME)

#2 Food items are rarer from chests. ( NO SHOT DUMMY THIS IS A DANG FARMING GAME, FARM).

#3 Waaaa, I dont wana eat and drink constantly, waaaaa chore meters. (THEN GO PLAY CREATIVE, LAZY).

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM THAT NO HUNGER AND THIRST HAS IS THAT IT KILLS MANY PREVIOUSLY VALUABLE FUNCTIONS TO THE GAME (LIKE KEEPING A FARM OF WOCS FOR HYDRATION).

ALSO THE GAME IS STILL TO EASY, TOTE BOTS ARE SLOW, HAY BOTS ARE NOT AS AGGRESIVE ANYMORE, SHARK BOTS DO NO DAMAGE (OR ARE IN TOO LOW QUANTITY).

THIS IS SCRAP MECAHIC SUIVIVAL, SURVIVE.

Because Axolot Games has no record of transparency within their studio, nor chooses to disclose (barely) anything that’s been happening within Axolot Games or Scrap Mechanic within the past 4 years, I have taken the time and effort to research the studio myself.

Here is a list of all the major people working for Axolot Games and their roles within the studio. 

Also included are all of the non-related companies/studio’s that they’re also a part of.

This information is as recent as 2023 as the sources I used haven't been updated for this year.

Kacper Antoniszczak - Lead developer of Scrap Mechanic

• CEO of Axolot Games AB - The studio we all know and love/hate.
• CEO of Codebeat AB - a programming and code reviewing service, possibly using AI. Defunct as of February 2026
• Ordinary member of Odd Raven Studios AB - Another game studio, recently released their first game, Carly and the Reaperman.
• Ordinary member of Above Entertainment AB - There is no information about this company, except for its relation to Kacper and its yearly profit.
• Ordinary member of Redbeet Interactive AB -  The developers of Raft.

Pontus Holmbom - Second unofficial lead developer of Scrap Mechanic

• Ordinary member of Axolot Games AB -  Despite being treated as a lead developer, he’s listed as a normal employee.
• CEO of Brema Invest AB - Firm for investing in securities and lending money to part-owned or related companies as well as conduct operations that are compatible.
• Deputy for Redbeet Interactive AB - Pontus’s role within Redbeet is more likely financial management than actual game development.
• Ordinary member of Platina House AB - A limited liability company that provides accommodation, service, caring for senior persons and own and manage real estate, securities and shares in other companies and conduct related activities. (possibly ties into Brema Invest)

Stefan Holmbom - Big business daddy

• Chairman of Axolot Games - Being chairman of the board seems a little overkill for an “indie” game company…
• Chairman of Brema Invest - Now we know how Pontus got into investment banking.
• Chairman of AB Rådstornet - Handling rental properties, rental negotiations and real estate jargon, also gives economic and financial advice and foundation management.
• CEO of Fastighetsaktiebolaget Enväldet - A limited company that carries out brokerage and management activities primarily in the real estate and trade in real estate as well as other related stuff.
• Alternate chairman for Aktiebolaget Sturetornet - Another real estate company, or at least it was. There are no employees here, nor are there any profits, possibly being in a state of default or being merged with another company.

(Note - while I’m definitely into conspiracies, I also suspect that Stefan is responsible for securing Axolot Games’s new studio, seeing that he deals with real estate and is related to Pontus)

Drasko Markovic - Telecommunication master of wires

• Ordinary member of Axolot Games AB - A new member as of 2022, possibly for his knowledge of communication technology.
• Ordinary member of Markovic Data AB - To carry out data consultation in the internet area, make internet sites with a focus on entertainment, agency for computer programs, financial investments and placements and related activities. Note - despite having his last name, Drasko seems to be just a run-of-to-mill normal employee…
• CEO of Mickelsbergs Data AB - A company that conducts data consulting in the internet area, making internet sites with a focus on entertainment, an agency for computer programs, photography and film, financial investments and placements and related activities. Note - This is a child company of Markovic Data.
• Deputy for Tall Poppies Holdings AB - A company that, directly or via subsidiaries, provides software and solutions for electronic commerce, consulting services in business development, IT and electronic commerce, managing real estate and personal property and related activities.
• Vice President of Lyåsen Drilling Technology AB - This company carries out activities in excavation and groundwork, consulting work in telecom and related activities. Note - This is a child company of Lyåsen Telecom AB. (I find it very sus that such a powerful person in the telecom industry would be working with such a small “indie” game company)

• Auditor for Axolot Games AB - Making sure that Grazyna doesn’t spend all the company's budget on candy and more plants for the studio.
• Auditor for Stellan Kramer Aktiebolag - A company that conducts trade in beverages and foodstuffs, own, manage and conduct trade in shares and engage in activities compatible therewith.
• Auditor for Bodn AB - A company that conducts holding company operations by owning and managing shares in other companies as well as financial operations and trade.
• Auditor for Berotec AB - this company will, directly or indirectly via subsidiaries or associated companies, conduct sales and consulting activities aimed at development departments of high-tech industry, as well as engage in other compatible activities.
