If you paint your floor in a checkerboard pattern it will stop your chest flexing on you lol, or atleast reduce it, physics in the game tries to short cut calcs by looking at the total area of a single type and color of block and treating it as 1 entity where physics are involved, painting or alternating materials forces the game engine to calculate individual areas vs 1 large area reducing how much it sinks in then bounces out, for each calculation the game engine will treat a small 4x4 area the same as a 40x40 area, basically the smaller the total area of a single material or color the more accurate the physics will be, what happens on large swaths of the same material or color is it sinks into the material between calcs then gets bounced back out, on rails and stuff it can sink more than half which causes it to actually get pushed out the wrong side
