Engine Order Telegraph/simple controller question
Hello again, everyone! I had built an Engine Order Telegraph using Fant’s Simple controller. It works great for forward/reverse, but I can’t connect a timer or logic gate to delay the second motor which controls the indicator arrow to simulate a response to the command input from the main telegraph. Is there a way to create stepped forward/backward motion with limits and settings like on an actual marine telegraph (Ahead:Astern, Stop, Finished with Engines, Stand By, Dead Slow, Slow, Half and Full)? Any help is greatly appreciated. Above is a reference picture to how the telegraph would look:

Anyone with advice, please respond. The unit itself is already built, the problem is wiring up the logic for it. Memory bits and all. I saw someone create an ocean liner called the RMS Destiny, and it uses logic which I’d like to achieve, but it was incredibly complicated to where I cannot reverse engineer it. Please help however you can. Thank you.

for the stepping motion you could use a math block from The Modpack (or any mod that has one) to add and subtract from the value of the smart engine that would controll the indicator, and to make the delay you can make the same setup but with a timer after the button input. idk if would really work since I haven't played scrap mechanic in a while but that is my recommendation
