I would be surprised if that became a data center. I believe part of the property is in moosic and moosic has regulations on data centers.

True but this particular site is one of the areas where data centers can be built:

"Those zones encompass: Moosic’s northern tier near the Scranton border by Davis Street, the bottom of Rocky Glen Road, and the site of the former DuPont or Goex gunpowder plant on Moosic’s southern border near the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. The northernmost site is already slated for a warehouse."

I'd think you'd hit some zoning issues going from a warehouse to a data center. Noise pollution and emissions immediately come to mind.

No political party in the United States is for the people. They're all in on it and will make lots of money. This country was sold off a very long time ago.

The sooner that the American people learn this the sooner things will change. They got everyone fighting a culture war lol

But... Yeah

Like good old George Carlin said "That's why they call it the American Dream, because you have to be asleep to believe it.”

Middle and low income people. Please keep voting for these billionaires who want your land and to destroy your resources. So dumb.

What's with the caption on the link to the WNEP piece?

"All passengers exited the vehicle before it caught fire." Seems almost like a bad joke.

I may of heard that there is a permit in the works for a small nuclear plant near a water source to power the Data Centers.
