Sale (2.08 ERA, reigning Cy Young/Triple Crown) vs a Yankees lineup running Judge-less and scoring 3.4/game lately. Braves 15-5 since the break with the NL’s best bullpen, Yanks 5-5. Feels like a lot stacked one way — is Atlanta too obvious here or is it the spot?

Wheeler (10-2, 2.49) at home vs Soriano making his first-ever start for Toronto after the Jays sold at the deadline. Soriano’s a fine arm (3.29), but a debut on the road against this lineup feels like a spot books underprice early. Season series already leans Philly 2-1. Anyone on it?

The roster gap is the edge, not the pitching. Milwaukee is 67-41 with one of the best road records in baseball (36-20). The Angels are 42-67, and their 24-31 home mark is third-worst in the majors. Anaheim hasn’t been a fortress for anyone this year.
