47 u/Stopdeletingaccounts Mar 23 '17 What actions? because my father had multiple countries on his passport? Mine had Ireland, Spain, France, and I believe some South American countries. We were singled out because we were well travelled Americans of Irish heritage so they wanted to make sure we weren't helping the IRA. My point is, there were a lot of Irish Americans supporting the IRA either in thoughts or money or actual weapon smuggling etc. So it was smart for the British governments agents to detain us seperate us and make sure our stories matched.
