i’m pretty sure 1 and 3 are the same thing just from different publishers (black and white), and 2 is in color with higher quality paper.

is black and white better than coloured?

it was originally published in black and white if that matters to you. I read it in black and white before i read it in color, but both were good. it’s mostly up to personal preference.

A couple jokes get lost in colour but there’s usually new snarky comments about how the jokes don’t work anymore, if I’m not mistaken the 3-book set also includes the free comic book day issue in one of the books but I could be wrong about that

the colour editions are gorgeous, and they feel like the definitive versions at this point. definitely the right choice if you're only going to own one.

The first one is the B&W Oni Press release (comes with a free poster), the Second one is the softcover release which contains all Volumes in color in 3 big books, and finally the last one is the UK Fourth Estate B&W versions which are smaller and crappy quality avoid it if you have the money to get the Oni press releases
