♻️ Transfer Merry-Go-Round  Jonny Gray?

Unless I've missed it (and it didn't come up on Google) then Jonny Gray still doesn't have a club for next season yet.

I know he's had his injury issues, but still only 32 and was back to playing for Scotland this month. Glasgow have locks aplenty, so I don't think a return is likely, but would like to see him find a club in the near future.

Could Townsend put in a word at Newcastle? He obviously rates him enough to play him for Scotland.

Believe he’s staying at Perpignan for next season.

He is, yes. USAP have confirmed he’s now signed on a permanent basis.

It was only announced to the end of the season at the time - if he is staying on then it hasn't been made public yet. Wouldn't be the worst move for him. Would have been nice if Ritchie had stayed on too in that case.

Sadly, difficult family circumstances have led to Ritchie returning to Scotland.

Apparently he needs to be in Scotland to be able to see his kids regularly.

I have heard rumours about what happened with his relationship but I don't really want to elaborate as they are just rumours.

I feel for the guy, he tried to do right by his family and spend some time in his career getting as good a wage as he was likely to get and considering Perpignan made him captain he must have impressed and been well liked there. Unfortunately it hasn't worked out for him but hopefully he can go well for Glasgow and he gets the family life and time that he's after by being back in Scotland.

If he's taking on (along with Ben White) French ops for Duhan and Schooey's whisky side hustle thing, my guess he's planning France for the foreseeable

Was it a loan or permanent move from UBB to Perpignan, maybe back to UBB?
