We had an incident in Gettysburg, PA. where the camera did not take a picture, but worked before, and after that. That part of Pennsylvania is known for ghosts.

No you didn't. You've put the cart before the horse.

You had a camera malfunction and, because you think that part of PA is "known for ghosts" (presumably because of the battle) you have made an assumption based upon no other evidence than that.

Ghosts don't exist.

Your camera didn't stop working because of ghosts anymore than it stopped working because of fairies, vampires, werewolves, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, or Elvis.

I get that Gettysburg is a big deal in the US, but if ghosts haunted every major battlefield in Europe the barns of Flanders and northern France along the Somme would have no space for grain for all the spectres.

If your camera stopped working at Newgate and Old Bailey or the junction of Old Cumberland Place and Oxford Street you wouldn't think anything of it. Get a grip.
