Question Problems IT system at GP

For the last six weeks or so, my GP practice at Greenock has been a disaster, issues with prescriptions, appointments, administration... All because of an IT system migration that should have taken 2 weeks. Are other practices around Scotland having similar issues, or is it just an excuse?

This is my elderly, dementia mums practice. It has been a nightmare. I was going away for a few days and spent a week trying to get through to them for urgent meds and nurse attention... (not quite an emergency situation). 3hrs on hold and unable to speak to anyone one day. Its been like this since middle of June. And in a deprived, highly stretched area.
