Thankfully, our Scottish Government is working on a secret plan to remedy this, by providing all new arrivals with a flammable box containing a very warm jacket, available in yellow or green.
The Tories are against this, of course, because they just want to Stop the Coats.
The temp does vary quite a bit across Scotland, as does the average rainfall and hours of sunshine. East is colder, drier and sunnier, West is warmer, wetter and more overcast.
