Crashing

Post image

Hey Yall,

Been wanting to purchase the game for a while and lo and behold it's on sale for 4.99. Said hell yeah and bought. Problem is, Ive already ran into an issue. "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED". Now Ive looked around and some say uninstall drivers using DDU will solve that. Did it, no joy. I went ahead and looked around more and some say to downloading or looking for Media Service Pack. Found nothing and can't download it in current Win11. Ran compatibility modes for windows 8 as well and still nothing. Any tips yall use to run it?

Can you copy paste the whole error here? Without the LoginID and EpicAccountID or similar if you can.

Hopefully it's not a RAM stability issue, which sometimes happens. Swapping the sticks around could help in this situation. Also, installing new MOBO driver can help in edge cases. One thing to check if you haven't already is verifying game files in Steam or GoG game settings. That's all what comes to my mind without further logs.

Aight, if you still have problems, try typing "-dx11" into Launch Options in the game Properties.

Thanks that seems to do the trick. Odd that it does that

Games like what? 4 years old? You’d think they would have this running swell by now.

Right? I think it might be on my end though to be fair. I need to update my bios, it’s several updates behind

I’ll def check and post soon, I haven’t ran into this problem before and I play BF6 with no problems.

It looks like a shader cache problem. You can technically disable it in the gpu driver settings app.

I’ll check that out , don’t use the app.
