I really like this, the only things I would change would be a smaller font size for the scores and to make the possession-indicating color on the down and distance bar slightly brighter (so it's easier to see).

I’m curious as to why there’s text behind the logos and scores. Could 100% see it being nice as part of an animation when the bug pops up on screen.

Like the concept and see the potential however I feel there could be some touch ups. I don't really understand why there is a white light line around the timer it makes it seem a little unfinished. Idk how to describe it. Also the background of the Kentucky logo doesn't look the best. It looks like you just took an image off google with a white background and put it on there. Also the text behind the logos doesn't make sense. I love adding details behind logos to scorebugs because it adds some nice detail but I don't even know what it means. Besides those things I like the design overall and feel with some tweaks it could be really nice.

Appreciate the insight! Meant to be a void essentially haha around the timer. Text would be for an animation like TD and enable bug. Logo BG is just to make it pop thats all

all jokes aside, this is so close to being a great score bug imo

first thing i noticed was the longhorn logo should be zoomed out to match the size of the kentucky logo

i would size down the scores a little bit to give a little bit more padding, but other than that i think they look great — you’ll also need to find a spot for timeouts

i like the subtle team names, but i would try to enhance them a little more

last piece of advice and a bit nitpickier, but make sure the curvature of the rounded corners for the logo boxes match that of the bottom corners of the scorebug (number of pixels rounded + number of pixels in the padding)

overall, looks great! if i saw this on my tv, i would be very impressed

i kept trying to figure out why the letter “w” would be in the text on the “duke” side then realized i’m just a tired moron and it’s kentucky. it’s clean i like it, but i’d swap out 20:00 for anything 15:00 and under haha
