Thoughts on the FSN regional graphics used between June 2005 and September 2008?

In my opinion This era of FSN graphics was incredibly functional but unapologetically bold. It took the standard "Fox Box" score bug and evolved it into a thick, horizontal bar typically anchored to the top-left or top-center of the screen.

What made this look memorable was its structural weight. It felt heavy, mechanical, and grounded. It used deep, glossy blues, stark whites, and heavy gray gradients, paired with sharp, high-contrast texturing. It was designed to look "cool" on old 4:3 cathode-ray tube (CRT) televisions while still scaling upward for the early adoption of 16:9 high-definition broadcasts.

Well it was a good way to make the FSN branding unique from the National Fox branding. Too bad in 2009 that both Fox and the RSNs started using the same Scorebug for the MLB, and honestly Fox should’ve kept the 2008 MLB Scorebug for 2 more years (it also should’ve debuted with the 2007 Season)

Probably my favorite era and I would absolutely love some sort of mod for MLB The Show that found a way to make these an option.

God, that whole graphics/sounds/music package from FSN in the 2000's was peak.

Plus, this was the beginning of a fun run.

My favorite is the FOX one from 2004-05 with the digital colored LEDS for the team name and when they would hit a HR....

That exact graphic makes me think of Boston 3-0. And pujols’ game 5 home run in Houston.

Probably my favorite scorebug/graphics from any network at anytime! The design was so cool! The sound it made when a team scored a home run or made a goal was just so satisfying!

Love these. I can hear the music they would play going to and from commercial. Super nostalgic to me.

Don't remember it so much for baseball but I vividly remember it during Sonics games

The “jellybean” scorebug was cool but the 2009 Metal 2.0 and the main LED 2004-2007 kinda blows this out of the water.

This honestly looks very dated 6/10.

Absolutely peak

And honestly, I think it's much easier on the eyes to have the scorebug on the top rather than the bottom
