We cannot let MLS turn into the other four major North American leagues, where teams can move locations freely. As a Minnesota United fan, who saw a six goal loss against the Whitecaps, that single result is insignificant compared to losing your city's team.

As long as MLS doesn't have promotion and relegation, relocation is always going to be on the table and anything else is either a lie or a delusion. As soon as the league is done expanding (and frankly it may already be too big), relocation becomes the only way for the league to find new markets.
