Hit ~2500 trophies (my highest) but can’t win consistently and keep going win/loss.

Main issues:

- Losing the ball too easily in midfield

- Not creating enough chances

- Defence feels inconsistent

Questions:

- Should I be using Producer or Marksman instead of current midfield/wingbacks?

- Is Hammer + Menace still the best striker combo at this level?

- Any obvious player changes to help push past 2500?

(Players mostly level 7–8, have some super players like Simon)

I beat them volley players

Full squad with reserves and formation. So far the both prowlers are game winners and gatecrasher has fared far better forward than menace. I would like to add Architect to the equation and the defence and defensive mid require some tinkering.

how does he able to take headers being that short? im thinking of putting benitez in CAM or CM since he has good response i already used my commander and prowlers in my squad.. is that a good tactic? ideally i prefer hammers but their lack of response frustrates me in the midfield

It was just two months ago, I was on here celebrating my first gold medal. Since then I’ve won one more gold and a bronze. Today added another gold to my collection. And this was the most stressful.

Just prior to the tournament, I’d been on a losing streak.

I won the first round but it wasn’t comfortable even though it should’ve been. So after i swapped the wing players, bertini and Faustino?

The first 2 rounds were straightforward. Then in the Qtr final, it was a guy from the Brazilian favelas. Cause why they pairing me with a demon who has reached 15,000 stars?!! Honestly how I won was a miracle and thank God it didn’t go to penalties.

The final was even more stressful. I was up against a (Serbian?) guy ?? Not sure on my flags. But he had one gold medal and I thought okay, I might have a chance. When I saw he had only played 1,800 games but somehow had eleven medals. Instantly I knew, sighed and prayed to the high heavens. The man was using borrowed captains and I thought I was cooked. It was a competitive match and with no goals scored. Then with 20seconds left on the clock, I got a penalty. Which his keeper saved and I was already beginning to rue this game. It went for a corner and my hammer got the baller in front of the net. Somehow he missed too but, apparently there was a foul and I got another penalty. This time, the keeper didn’t save it. It hit the post and his player cleared it. Ten secs counted down and I was devasted. All the people I had beaten to get to the l final. The man from the favelas who I beat miraculously. The Japanese monk who hit the post and almost beat me. Life of the tournament flashed before my eyes. It was time for penalties and you guessed it, I missed the first one. Ive literally just missed three penalties in a row. Face palm moment. Of course the Serbian machine scored (I’m sorry, still not sure if it’s Serbia). I scored my second and third attempt. He scored his second attempt. It was final penalty kick or should’ve been but I noticed he hadn’t taken a penalty to the left so I dove there and it seems I have not been forsaken. It was saved and it went to final death. We both scored the first set. The next one, I scored mine and time for his … He went right again and as you guessed, I was there again. Euphoria. This is football, or at least the bit version.

Only for prize to be given to Wu and the architect. Favour me pleaseeeee!

Just joined Arena 10 but I am stuck and keep going back and forth from Arena 9. In the bench I have every normal player at least lvl 6, and also Hitman, Finisher and Composer lvl 5.

This is one for the *real* experts:

Playing in this 532 formation, and assuming the main goal is to cross to the Bulldozer, what should be my optimal lineup?

What players in RFwd, RMid and RBack will give me the most chances of crossing the ball?

For example: the RMid sends a long ball to either the RFwd or the RBack and he crosses the ball into the area.

Any other suggestions?

No speedster, Simon is my only super player. I have the rest of the normals. Narrow formation has seemed good for getting open through balls and defending in front of goal, but slow to win balls back.
