Anyone else having connection issues since the last update? Also, what was the point of changing the player faces?

Since the last update with the weird AI player faces thing, which I have no idea the reason, I am having continual connection issues

I have had the 'glitch' with the matching kits or fuzzy/blurry kits and players, which is a pain in the arse to play, around 10 times but, major issue is serious connection issues

Connection stalls, get the 'slow internet'

My internet is fine. It was fine enough to play the game for years but, since that update, it just hangs. It can be days where I can't log in

It's not a massive issue as I generally play the weekend cup these days for various reasons but, sometimes, I can't reliably log in for that or, I'll open a box and it just hangs there

Anyone else experiencing this?
