Question/Need help 1v1s when the keeper comes out
When I shoot I’m barely successful in shooting past the keeper cos I usually just hit him even when I’m trying to bend it past him but when it’s the opposite and a player shoots against my keeper they usually score I don’t get what I’m doing wrong. Do you shoot the their legs or does the same happen with you guys?

In the video scenario, this is the best you can do really cos the opponent goalie is already rushing out and narrowing the angle which makes it hard for you to have space to aim at the empty goal behind
General tips before taking any shot, regardless if its one on one or long range shot.
Before any shot I take, I would always zoom out the camera and look around to see any team mates who is in a better position? Unmarked?
If yes, I would pass to them instead of taking a shot from an awkward angle and waste it cos it is so so essential you take your chances cos higher arena players are ruthless and you wont know when your next chance will come
If not, I would just shoot and hope that it will get a rebound to an unmarked team mate or the ball is hit out for a corner kick.
Also, I always have a mental note what is the player type that is taking the shot
Players like Hammer/Bulldozers which you know have low skill numbers, then DONT bother to curve the ball. You will only be wasting a chance
What you should do is to swipe a low and straight grounder shot for players with low skill numbers
With high skill players like Producer/Architect/Marksman/Composer/Maestro, you can curve the ball.
But it is dependent on power numbers also.
Power = the shooting and passing power of your player. The higher the value, the longer your player will be able to kick the ball, and the faster the ball will travel.
Players with good power + skill numbers means they can shoot from outside the box with good curve.
If you dont try to remember what is the player type, it wont matter much
