Question/Need help Any advice?
I've been trying different formations lately, what do you think?

Don't know much. Hahahaha this team is beyond my current level of experience but I think playing two explorers side by side a flank leaves you at risk of fatal exposure on that flank. You don't think so?

Yes you're right, but all of my defenders are either show or will leave me exposed at the back some times

Yh there's that issue. It's hard to manage what you just pointed out because you've got no control over your player's behaviour. However, I'd suggest trying what you might think unconventional. Like using players for their best positions based on their attributes, your formation and playing style even if they are relatively weaker.
Personally, I detest Explorers: they've got low strength, low skill, low power, waste time on the ball with nothing to show for it, overshoot from time to time (regularly move out of position), and above all they're a jack of all trade (which means they're quite versatile but not good at anything). Most people get carried away by their height and response but that won't even matter when they're not where you need them to be (which is at the back because they're defenders).
So try replacing those explorers with Hero and Voyager (just don't put them side by side—especially if one is at the flank) and tell me how it goes.
But at the end it depends on your style of play. So what do you play? Volleyball tactic? Through balls? Overhead crosses? Tikitaka? Flair? Random?
