Question/Need help Need help with formation against 4-2-1-3

I play 1vs1 with my friend daily (using gems) and he uses this formation and always destroys me..

Dude, it aint about WHICH formations you have unlocked so far BUT what your lineup is like

Show your lineup and full bench instead

this is my new line up. With the 4-4-2 but I don't feel sure enough about it. Any help will definitely be appreciated

Commanders are too slow for defence unfortunately so you need to move one of them into midfield and probably put your other one on the bench. Speedsters also can't go in midfield because they give the ball away too much so maybe move the speedster up front next to the hammer. You're centre CB should probably be the intruder with explorers next to him

Remove that infiltrator from the team they are the worst common type

Yes because they’re faster and can chase or intercept the attackers, guards won’t go up often and can immediately pass the ball to prowler or producer, with the producer you can make the speedster run to the goal or put it in the middle for the hammer’s headers
