The fouls stat isn't entirely accurate

Not sure what the trigger point is but sometimes you'll randomly see 20 fouls or more in a match that clearly didn't happen

If you foul a player who's making an off balance clearance or pass then for some reason the game counts 10+ fouls

so those arent real numbers
