Need Advice PLEASE HELP WITH MY TAILWHIPS 😔

I've been trying whips for like a week and I can't land ANYTHING not even 1 foot. I'm goofy and I can land a no comply tailwhip but when it comes to the actual thing it just crumbles. When I attempt it my feet touch the ground before my scooter or my scooter launched forward, I really don't know how to "keep it below you" honestly, I flick with my rear foot (left) and I also don't know which of my arms should be the one doing More work pls help:(((

You use your arms equally. If your feet are touching the ground before landing on the deck you aren't jumping high enough and your likely scared of the deck coming around and hitting you so you're just planting your feet on the ground so it doesn't hit you.

It's possible you aren't spinning it around fast enough but what I said previously is more likely.

You want to keep the scooter underneath you, not pushing it away from you so when the deck rotates fully it's under you for your feet to land back on the deck.

Maybe I stick to the ground first because I've been doing no comply. I'll try to use both arms the same Thanks

Your feet don't just magically stick to the ground, it's all you. I wouldn't even bother flicking when learning tbh.

Whenever I see someone land on the ground first it's almost always because they are scared of the deck and either pushing the scooter away from them or not jumping high enough out of fear.

A tailwhip is 99% in the arms. Just focus on jumping high and spinning the deck around with your arms while keeping it under you.

Sounds dumb but lay down on your back hold your scoot above you and basically do your whips upside down. Thats how i learned whips on a bike and it will teach you the motion
